LOCOMOTIVES
The locomotive department operates twenty-one Alco locomotives, which consists of two RS-1, six T-6 switchers, an RS-32, and twelve C-420s. One of the RS-1s was built in April of 1943 and is still in use today. Two of the T-6 switchers have gone through a rebuilding stage in which 100% of the bushings and wheels were replaced. This upgraded these switchers to E-6 752 Traction Motors.

One of these switchers has also recently been completely rewired. And the last three switchers have rebuilt engines, with a fourth currently being rebuilt. The RS-32 was rewired and cab converted to make a C-420. Plus all twelve C-420's have been completely rebuilt and four C-420's have been completely rewired.

Our locomotive department has painted all of our locomotives in the past five years. Due to the fact that we have a great deal of pride in our company, we manually wash our total locomotive fleet on a weekly basis.
