ARKANSAS-MISSOURI RAILROAD'S Engine Shop is fully equipped and expertly staffed to handle everything from simple wheel turning projects to major engine overhauls.
The shop's most recent project is the refurbishment of A&M #70. This engine will soon be operating on the northend of the Arkansas Missouri Railroad system helping the C-420s bring in freight from Monett Missouri to destinations in Northwest Arkansas and beyond. Click here to see a full system map.
Other notable projects include the retrofitting of special camera systems to A&M 50 and A&M 60. These advanced systems allow monitoring of track conditions and handling characterisitics of the train in real time. They also provide valuable information to help reduce crossing accidents.
